Wilesco D419 Showman's Engine Kit

The Showman's Traction Engine was a common sight at fairs and carnivals at the beginning of the 20th century. It was used to drive the carnival rides and provide lighting for the fairground. These vintage engines were beautifully decorated in vibrant colours and equipped with a dynamo to generate electricity for lighting.

Wilesco have captured the essence of the fairground in this stunning, live steam model! 

Self-propelled and capable of producing its own electricity to run the LED lights when in steam, the distinctive colours of this marvellous steam engine really set it aside as something very special! 

This is the kit version of the showman's engine D409.
